Terms of service

These terms govern use of the VibeBox public website and the developer-led web strategy, design, development, and launch services agreed in a written project proposal or statement of work. The service is operated by VibeBox Web Studio (“VibeBox”, “we”, “us”). Contact: support@vibeboxph.com.

Services covered

Depending on the accepted proposal, VibeBox may provide some or all of the following:

• Project discovery, strategy, and information architecture
• Custom web design and responsive implementation
• Full-stack development, integrations, and staging review
• SEO, analytics setup, production launch, and handover
• Optional add-ons such as payments, booking, maps, SMS, auth, CMS, or domain assistance when scoped
• Access to the client dashboard for project updates, payments, credits, inbox, reviews, or domain setup when those features are enabled for your account

Public pages describing industries, pricing ranges, work, and insights are informational. They do not replace a written proposal for your project.

How projects start

New projects begin through the public project brief at /contact (or an equivalent written inquiry). VibeBox reviews fit and may reply with questions, a discovery step, or a proposal. A binding engagement starts only when both sides accept a written proposal that states deliverables, exclusions, schedule estimates, review stages, pricing, payment milestones, third-party services, and client responsibilities.

VibeBox Launchpad is a coming-soon product and is not the current public intake workflow. Until Launchpad is released, Launchpad preview routes and related wizard flows are not an offer to contract through that product.

Agreement and scope

Marketing pages, starting package prices, and package descriptions are general information — not a fixed offer for every scope. Final price and deliverables are those stated in the accepted proposal and invoice.

Payment terms

A 40% non-refundable project deposit is required to start planning, design preview, and initial development. The remaining 60% balance is required before final handover, production launch, source-code transfer, or domain connection. Paid add-ons must be settled before delivery. If the remaining balance is overdue, staging access or the staging website may be paused until payment is completed.

Client responsibilities

• Provide timely feedback and decisions at each review stage.
• Supply accurate instructions and lawful content.
• Confirm you have rights to use logos, photos, copy, and other assets you provide.
• Provide accounts, domains, API keys, or credentials required for agreed integrations. Payment, SMS, maps, email, analytics, and similar services remain under your control unless the proposal states otherwise.
• Keep login credentials for the client dashboard secure and notify VibeBox promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Staging, launch, and handover

Work is typically reviewed on a staging environment before production launch. Production launch, source-code transfer, final handover, and domain connection proceed only after required payments and paid add-ons are settled, and after the agreed review checkpoints are complete.

After handover, ongoing hosting, domain renewals, and third-party subscription fees are your responsibility unless a separate maintenance agreement says otherwise.

Credits and reviews

Credits, when offered, are for minor post-delivery updates within the published credit rules (for example copy tweaks or small layout fixes). Credits do not cover major redesigns, new modules, or new integrations. Review submissions and any credit grants tied to approved reviews follow the terms shown in the client dashboard at the time of submission.

Changes and delays

Requests outside the confirmed scope may require a revised quote and schedule. Delivery estimates may move when content, access, decisions, feedback, third-party services, or payments are delayed.

Intellectual property and handover

Ownership and licenses for client-specific deliverables are defined in the project proposal. After all required payments are received, agreed deliverables are handed over. VibeBox retains ownership of pre-existing tools, reusable methods, internal systems, scaffolds, and design frameworks. Third-party materials remain subject to their own licenses.

Third-party services

Hosting, payment processing (including Xendit), authentication (including Google sign-in when enabled), email delivery, maps, analytics, and other providers have separate terms and availability. VibeBox is not responsible for outages, policy changes, account restrictions, or fees controlled by those providers, but will coordinate agreed setup work in good faith.

Website accounts and acceptable use

You may not misuse the VibeBox website or client dashboard, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful or infringing material, attempt unauthorized access, scrape the service abusively, or use VibeBox services to build or promote unlawful activity.

Confidentiality

Each party should treat non-public project materials, credentials, and business information shared for the engagement as confidential, and use them only to perform or receive the agreed services, except where disclosure is required by law or already public through no fault of the receiving party.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable Philippine law, VibeBox’s aggregate liability for a claim relating to a project is limited to the fees paid to VibeBox for the affected service. Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss is excluded where the law allows.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes should first be raised in writing to the contact email above so both sides can attempt a practical resolution.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes to an active project are confirmed in writing for that engagement.
